Introducing ourselves
Simon is known for innovation, risk-taking, and his ability to design systems where empathy becomes operational, he bridges activism, business, and community with fluency.
Like many in his early professional career, he was certain that progress meant taking sides and winning arguments. Over time, he realized the real divide wasn’t ideological, it was human. “We’ve built entire systems for talking at each other and almost none for talking with each other”.
Today you’ll find Greer in the places and conversations most people avoid; on college campuses navigating identity and free speech, in small-town churches and community forums wrestling with belief and belonging, inside companies where trust has thinned, and on national platforms where politics feels like it has become a contact sport.
Greer’s purpose? Reverse what he calls “performative disagreement.” It’s not about left or right, it's how we talk, or rather, how we stopped. He’s had a front row seat in watching empathy erode as a social skill.
His methodology is not to drop in to take sides or act as a mediator; he listens deeply and designs an environment so that disagreement feeds discovery. His work isn’t about softening conviction but strengthening one’s reserve to remain curious long enough to see what’s really at stake.
Greer’s approach is grounded, intellectual, and deeply human. He combines rigor, humor, and humility in an effort to teach the demanding skill of empathy.
